ABOUT ZACH

Zach Robinson is running for Salt Lake County Council because too many politicians are taking the easy way out when our county faces challenges.

Zach Robinson is a public servant, problem-solver, and lifelong resident of Salt Lake County.

After graduating from the University of Utah, Zach began his career in emergency services as a firefighter and paramedic. His time as a first responder solidified his passion for community welfare and his dedication to helping his neighbors in times of crisis. He also learned that leadership means running toward challenges and finding solutions, especially when the stakes are high.

When a serious injury caused Zach to leave the field, he went back to the U, earning his Master’s of Public Administration. However, after seeing up close the tangible impact that public servants can have on people’s lives, Zach decided to run for the Sandy City Council to continue working for his community. During his two terms on the Council, Zach became known for his commitment to problem-solving and his ability to work with anyone to get things done.

Zach currently works at the University of Utah Health, overseeing virtual care operations. He lives in Sandy with his wife, Nichole, and their two daughters, Hannah and Haleigh, and is a proud “dance team dad.” He’s running for Salt Lake County Council because we need leadership that focuses on public service: facing tough challenges head-on, listening, and solving problems.
